MPP Women

 

Women represent 35% of the MPP members, about 20,000. The larger percentage are in all-women groups and the remaining is mixed with men’s groups.

MPP women develop economic and social activities and work on women’s rights. Since 1998, MPP initiated a women’s education program where 11 women have already graduated from college and come back to work in the organization in different fields and six are still in college in Haiti and abroad.

MPP women runs several income producing activities including peanut butter production, handcrafts store, etc.
